imo bi-weekly means a new round begins every two weeks, so we have a 14 day timeframe for picking a word, uploading submissions, voting time and announcing the winner. if we use 14 days just for submitting entries it is not bi-weekly.

for the future we could reduce voting time to 2 days, so one more day for submitting entries.

 

I also thought the deadline was july 19th and not yesterday.

 

I misread the voting starts on the 19th, rather then submissions ending on that date. Oh, well. Looking forward to the next word.
