I'm glad you're trying more dynamic stuff though. usually i see cats just having static characters and so forth. I say the ruffles and creases in the shirt need work along with the arm and hand. Definitely a clean start though.

that hyde aint so bad, the D is a bit ugly. but its a pretty solid simple. one of the few sketches ive seen where the middle bar of the E is longer than the top/bottom and it isnt ugly

the fill on the A maybe,and i'm not feeling that A at all
but i don't see anyting spontaneous or original,
cause where i'm from we would call euro funky style,
so yeah for a first try it's ok,anyways down to crits
