[Broken External Image]:http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/1525/imag0235n.jpg before i do any kind of fills or anything, what do you guys think? i wasn't sure about connecting the letters, but i did it. everythings in pencil so i can do any kind of tweaks. please dont just tell me it sucks, tell me how i can make it better
If you want to make a piece like that (which I don't see why you would want to) at least use a ruler to make it look clean... Start simple man you will hear this a lot. Keyboard letters as easy as it may sound, try to actually do a keyboard letter piece and see what you get...
i think that looks dope as fuck for someone who doesnt really know what they are doing somewhat reminds me of prism a ruler would help out a lot tho
i know i know, thats what everyones been saying and its what i've been doing, i was just kinda fuckin around with this word and i thought this didnt turn out TERRIBLE, so i figured id post it up for some advice. as for rulers, i just sketched this quickly more as a concept to see what people thought before i took the time to make it look nice. I wanted to get some advice, maybe fix up the structure a bit, and then take the time to make it clean and maybe do a fill or something. first positive thing i've heard on here xD thanks bro, and it does say prism lol what do you mean by use bars, I'm new at this, especially terminology, so i apologize if that's a really stupid question, but could you give me some examples possibly?
There should be a new to graffiti thread or something like that on here. Try to find it, it should all be explained there. If no luck, PM me.
word, i'll check it out. thanks man, ill try to make a cleaner version and re up before i do any fill or anything
trying something new, dunno how I feel bout it. Should I bother cleaning it up and inking? PEGCITY I think if you made your bars thicker it'd look a lot better. Curved extension of the top of the A needs to be more of a constant thickness, extension off the P could be smaller, or make the leg bigger. Could turn out pretty good IAN good concept, work at it a bit with the above advice. Would make a nice roller EDIT: seeing it bigger brings out a few weird extensions.... shiet son
What exactly is a roller? I'm assuming something you'd paint with a roller? Also, I'm not one to give advice as far as the graffiti things go, but if you leave that piece for a day or 2 without looking at it then come back and check it out, you can have a fresh perspective on things. I drew up the shittiest piece for the toy battle and thought it was sick (first piece xD) and looking at it now its just awful
just a simple havent finished it yet still trying to get structure and usage of bars birthday present PRISMAS! used the colorless blend simple tried a diff 3-D i think thats my name not sure what u guys think
whoa whoa whoa okay.. uhm 1) On the "Andrew" one.. do you not know what same width of bars mean? the N is horrible wrong. 2) Capital and lower case letters never mix well, only ones i've seen work are e and i. definitly not h's. all your bars on every letter need to be the same size man, draw out the bars, dont free hand... OH about your name : http://www.google.com/images?um=1&h...UoAA&q=diesl+graffiti&nfpr=1&biw=1360&bih=579 you need new one. you will never burn the orig Diesl.. When you think you have a name google image search "your name graffiti"
it was good, i ahve to go get another god damn bowl because of this diesl kid.. i second the prisma action. you deserve sharpies and crayons right now..
yo0 dont gotta hate cause yall jealous, use your five finger discount... though Deisel I'd save the prismas for when you get a bit better and stick with b&w sharpie and other less expensive stuff. Dont let them go unused, but save em too, trust me you'll be happy you did. I use sharpie to outline most of my stuff and do 3d ish too. I like the CUMMINS the best, bars on top and bottom of the C need to be thicker though, and the little tiny extension off the U needs to go. Work on that 3d, specially on the CLASH, all lines should go in the same direction, like as if light was in our top left corner casting a shadow on your letters nah meen? Try an keep your bars pretty much 90 degrees, it'll look better... i'd ditch that last piece you did.. uuhhmm hm the perspective 3d on the ANDREW is pretty good on the most part, should be using that ruler.. I wouldnt worry bout upper/lower case, pretty much whatever looks good. Just keep it up dood keep practicing parallel lines, even bars, rectangles, yaa knowww. Prolly should consider the name change though, rearrange the letters. @ian yeah, rollers usually done huge, very visible, basic letters are generally done, and done with a roller. There's a thread on the forums somewhere, search it.. [Broken External Image]:http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/2516/1129102312a.jpg still want some advice on this
Been awhile since I've been on BS. Ill crit everyone who crits me when I'm on my computer. Says "prisma". Marker/pen feestyle.
