@Grabs you mean block letters?
Yep, block letters, try making your letters straight and basic, like keyboard letters. After you get a better grasp on structure, then you can start bending the bars to try and add style, then later hookups.
Bumping some whack shit, totally a bad example for what I just told you to do, lol
@retro still looks dope and thanks for the advice.
new to anything other than throws and tags really, but heres my first go. fucked up the 4d on the L i think too.
@Retro I'd cut back on extensions a little dude, makes your letters look worse than they really are
@Lich Not bad at all. Just make sure you carry the same style throughout, for example: since your letters have curves in them, you should've curved the horizontal bottom bar on the L instead of making it a sharp bump.
daily.. ignore the Mar piece, i dont really like how it came out
Grabs your shit is starting to look really nice, you got the bars down and now you're getting creative. Keep it up
@semp thanks dude, cool to hear that from one of the better writers on the site
@grabs, yeah that was my first piece in about two-three months, and I got a bit carried away lol.
I really like your OVAR pieces in your last post, especially the second pic. Really clean, slick bars. Your throws are pretty sick aswell, you down for an exchange??
More work pen sketches.
This is prolly as toy as it gets, looking for help to improve not some dipshit insult, cool?
needs more arrows
More arrows, drips, maybe some fire and it will be sweet.

Keep calm and chive on
Try doing letters.
nice loon, maybe try thickening your bars up abit? that LEWN throw is dope maybe try that letter combo with this
flipper, simplify simplify simplify. drop the extensions, bends and doo das. widen up your letters and start off with simple good old keyboard letters. may seem boring and easy but they are harder then they look and you want to make yours look as proper looking as you can. then you start adding some funk to it.
Hak some of it looks a bit forced but its good to experiment! those shiny glares look good though. keep at it
Some rough felt pen sketches, the CMND ones are for an exchange with tiger
one of my G's is a C on accident but crits always appreciated
@loon good simples
@flipper do letters like the ones on your keyboard for a few months, you have no grasp of letter structure
@hak letters arent awful but theres mistakes throughout that make the piece look worse than it is. work on simples
@turban the alternating sizing on a bunch of those makes the piece not flow as well. The style could definitely work but I just feel like you need to put more than 5 minutes into each
random shit, ive been MIA
Some of my older stuff from between 2006-2011.. Makes me feel fucking old realizing ive been at this 10+ years
i see what your saying grabs. sometimes i dont have the motivation to put lots of time in it but i have posted lots of stuff that i have. those where just like new ideas i guess for something i could start messing with. and good looking out man il work on keep the letter size more consistent
your flows getting better. digging the top and bottom one the most except the R at the bottom maybe the bottom bars come abit close? i do this too sometimes though :/ keep at it man looking good
jak theres some nice stuff there im digging that alphabet and some other steezy stuff in there
@suburbanturban Thanks man I feel like ive gotten worse since then (2011 or earlier) I didnt sketch for like 3 years and only started back up about a month ago.. hopefully ill get back some of the old style and improve on it.
OH also the derive battle is up on the battle polls forum
well the foundation is there so just practice more man and you will get it back and keep progressing
