I like that reddish one a lot too. i'm just really lovin the realism of those faces and the emotions you can see in them. the one's with words all around them really appeal to me too. that aspect reminds me of other, sometimes he does a face or character surrounded by words and I really like that. there's a lot of raw feelings in them faces. send me a PM Shotty!

No, purely self-improvement thus far. Art in school didn't really help, its mainly been staring at people and observing how lighting interacts with the shape of the face and body. A great way to observe if your proportions are accurate or not is looking at your sketches in a mirror, unproportional areas are much easier to notice. The key is just observing facial structures though, I freak the shit out of people cause I often touch and stare at their faces when I first meet them. It helps.
