    i got into a really heated discussion about this sort of thing at a party last night.
    basically...all these "mainstream" artists ...lil wayne...50 cent..whoever...they know they can drop a shit fuckin verse and still make millions off a song.

    they don't give a fuck, theyre getting rich, and as long as they keep rappin about all the money theyre getting, and all the bitches they pull, ignorant consumers will eat up their albums.

    everyone on the underground tip hates on them, and they all know it. but they're laughing all the way to the bank, cause they don't even gotta be creative no more. spit some garbage over a $10,000 beat, and you best believe they will bump it in the club.

    nah i was gonna up it for you regardless,
    i wasn't setting any conditions for upping those albums,
    i was just really desperate to get his stuff because i just bought one of his books "live for a living" and i wanna read it to someof his spoken word pieces,
    do you want me to post up torrents?
    because that shit is much faster than upping on these dumb file host servers...
    let me know,
    and yo, i gotta thank you for upping buddy's stuff,
    you're the man.

    its commnets like this that make u look ignorant. dich an artist because they made it?! how fuckin stupid is that? to each his own but hommie, music is music. i could give a fuck if the person that makes it is rich or not. all i know is what i like and what i dont. leave all your bullshit music pollitics out. who dont want to make money doing something they love? tell ya what, if u even have a job when they come down and tell u "hey i can tell u love this and your doing a good job, how bout a raise?" u tell them to blow it out there ass, cus u like to just keep it real down in the dirty undergound. pfffft :rolleyes: retarded.

    props to the shit just posted. ill be gettin that shit when i get off work. lovein it.

    btw, tode, if u wanna keep runnin your mouth about this shit pm me. leave it out of the thread brotha.
  18. I just wanna take a post to say thank you to all those upin albums and shame on the leechs including myself....This thread has opened my ears to a lot of dope shit that I was unaware of until now....Hip Hop isn't dead it's just gotten a lil' harder to find over the last decade....honestly people have different opinions about the shit they listen too and Hip Hop has a wide variety of subgenres now, but like Fube said just appreciate that someone took time out of there day to give you an album for fucking FREE. Some commercial rap is good, and just because someone is making money off of what they're doing and they haven't dumbed it down or let their lyrics become watered down more power to them...Personally if it's dope it's dope, regardless of underground or commercial...Even tho underground isn't very clear, and feels more like un-discovered yet...Can you seriously say if someone waved millions of dollars in your face to have you rap and even put less time into the lyrics you would turn them down?? I thought so.

    Fube basically just said what I did when I was typing, I know it sounds redundant.
