I am trying to create a DIY mop, but the felt I am using for the nib is maybe too thick? I have 4 or 5 pieces rolled up and bent in half, but the paint does not flow through the felt very well. I had to squeeze crazy hard and only when the mouth of the bottle opened up enough to let paint pour out a corner could I get paint on the nib.

What are some alternatives to use for a mop. I really like the montana or krink markers and their tips, but those fuckers are too expensive to be buying all the time. Ideally I can buy something similar and cut to shape for my DIY mop and paint.
