one time we went to sum lil birthday party/rave thing for a friend in some dive of a club....my stoner friends were runig the whole knight and everyone s coats got robbed, i was like fuck that.but i dont know if uv ever raved for 6 hour in a massive winter jacket i was mashed ad to o and sit i the room were all the confiscated drinks gt kept
what do you guys think of this tune?? im taking this as Caspas answer to Skreams remix of La Rouxs In For The Kill. Deadmau5 - I Remember (Caspa Remix) http://www.mediafire.com/?tiznuidmczm
Skream's remix for "In For The Kill" was just a bit too minimal in my opinion. But it was a pretty nice tune. This Caspa remix sounds really fucking nice.
it was beautiful, see it suprises me when you hear songs like that and call them minimal, listen to dubstep a few years ago and you would have hated all of it !!! its getting too loud and losing its soul.
No, he fainted when he arrived in australia, cos it was too hot for him. So he packed up and went home. Waaaaaaa call the waamblulance homo
yea thats pussy, that my point i raved all fuckin night under the influence of alot of stuff in a fat ass bomber jacket and didnt faint
Its that, and that the tune really just seemed, I don't know how to say it, unfinished? I mean, the drum-line comes in about halfway into the tune, and then theres this little segment with hints of DnB at the end of it, it was a great tune don't get me wrong, I just like a little bit of consistency throughout the dubstep I enjoy listening to. I'm not trying to knock Skream or anything here, he's massive. It just wasn't that great of a track for me.
early dubstep was alot more like garage back in the day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpP5jZ5Ne2o&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C05SRowg0VU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9WAWPYqCB0&feature=related then oldskool garage evoled into grime... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ouSPGy_Sbo&feature=related wich evolved into dub which went full circle back to the oldskool garage roots
I just find that the simplicity of it is what makes it, and earlier dubstep so good. nowadays these artists just layer on a hundred million distorted wobble bass sounds, a gangster movie sound byte and a 2 step beat and call it dubstep.
yea dubstep for me is the time in a set to sit dow role a zoot and nod my head, if uv been shaking out to jungle for 3 hours straight a nice simple beat to keep u noddiin just wat u need dubstep takes its name from dub.... which was all about minimal production and dope beats
exactly! this is what im trying to say about drum and bass artists coming in and fucking shit up with dubstep, overdoing it and trying to make them party tunes when they should really be gangsta head nod songs !!! They are missing the point of it completely. people think dark means loud and dirty, dark is THIS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2faxqj7PNvQ classic... simplistic and gangster as fuck, when the bass comes in woaaaah
on a grime tip, im bumping the fuck outta this song at the moment http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aiK5ze6WsNY
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yh8vgxoa6DY&fmt=18 Skevist - Victim Of Hated Counterfeiting. BIG track.
