descendents was one of the first bands that got me into old punk/hardcore. they got me playing guitar and starting bands and skateboarding. because of them i met 90% of my friends and have created the most unforgettable memories the past 6-7 years. i would not be the person i am today if it was not for Milo Goes To College. I am forever indebted to that band and that scene. PLUS, the tattoo is getting done by an apprentice for free. Is that a good enough reason? I think it is.

Forgot to mention that the American Hardcore documentary was fuckin' amazing. Great footage from a lot of the 80's hardcore punk pioneers. If you've read the book or are into the late 70's and early-mid 80's hardcore then I highly recommend seeing it. I rented it from Netflix, and I plan to buy it as well.
