not a fan of most nyc hardcore

but to say the only good hardcore is local hardcore is some dumb shit. you gotta rep your city, but still... there are too many good bads to turn the cheek- especially at shows. give some respect to bands that bust their ass and do the touring thing, it's not easy.

Just took off for Ceremony and TIH. Cannot wait

yea, i most definately rep local scene, thats what its about, im from albany... we have a pretty good scene, troycore bands are pretty sick, and theres a couple nice bands from albany, and even clifton park even though its a rich ass town... but when bands come up from nyc, its never bad... and when bands come from michigan, like bloodlined calligraphy, and put on a nice show, im totally down... yea nyhc is alot about being tougher than everyone... hey its new york, thats what people do here. lol... but i just love hardcore to dance, and jump off stuff, anything that makes me wanna do kartwheels is awesome to me. ... o yea, and how can u not go to a hoods show...
and i still feel old evergreen terrace, like look up at the stars, and no donnie...

I love hardcore. Midwest scene is where it's at.
I currently am in love with

    Bury Your Dead
    Modern Life is War
    Black my Heart
    Have Heart
    Death Threat

Midwest scene has some really solid bands. Mainly metalcore and death metal bands though like, With Dead Hands Rising, After the Burial, and stuff. Some hardcore locals are Too Pure to Die and Ignite the Will. Check those out. Amazzzzzzzzzzzzzing.
