no shit hardcore has a lot of subgenres. problem is, none of the bands you listened are anywhere near hardcore or any of its subgenres. you look like a fool when come into this thread talking like you know whats up. listen to shit like SSD, DYS, Jerry's Kids, Gang Green, Wasted Youth, Government Issue, Youth Brigade (DC), Red C, Void, Negative Approach
hey asshole, i'm the one who knows what hardcore is. you are the one who is wrong, not me. fuck, you kids are helpless. listen to Negative Approach and find the meaning of true hardcore.
ahah ive been to all thouse shows! also: shipwrecked mongoloids ceremony bracewar KLU ........oh shit. my xanax just kicked in a ibitt ...lol and other bands.
omgz beef-aroni!! its music, lets argue over it to make ourselves feel better! the spic girls are where its at. fuck all the haters.
graff kids have big egos. hardcore kids have big egos. that coupled with the anonminity of a computer screen and you have instant e beef.
a lot of metal bands have breakdowns two steps and circle pits these days. but I do concede that suffokate have more immediate hardcore influences than a lot of bands around these days. that said, I gravitate more towards stuff like Emmure, Tony Danza, Arsonists Get All The Girls, Liferuiner and Ligeia
Man, I don't even pretend to call myself a hardcore kid. Its just too much work to justify that kind of stuff, there will always be someone trying to tell you how much more "Core" they are or why you aren't.... althought i do listen to a wide spred of the Core genres.. (Bury your Dead, Emmure, Elysia, Casey Jones, STYG, The warriors, BANE, Champion, Born For Battle, Suffokate, The Acacia Strain) and am very into the shows and the Culture... i just don't bother trying to put myself into a label.
Agreed, I don't think I could tell someone I was hardcore with a straight face. I just usually tell people I listen to a lot of hardcore and metal music. Sounds ridiculous trying to put a label like that on yourself.
only high school scene kids who think as i lay dying is hardcore label themselves "hardcore". nobody who really listens to hardcore does that.
