^eh, I heard of that before on some conspiracy forum sounds like bullshit Seriously, a NWO like ppl are scared of sounds stupid. People make too much money for that to be beneficial to "the elite" everyone is so scared of
Man... That Cid was wack.. They used Charcters from Movies and Shows. and Bush is dumb so that really made it wack.
ive gotta say that NASA heading a complete overhaul of all religion to place in the anti-christ religion sounds pretty far fitched... but the more you read the more you know, and the better you can see the signs if it actually does happen... wont hurt to spend 15 minutes educatiing myself even if it is most likely a nut job with an internet connection. and if this actually existed, wouldnt the government of already taken that site down and found and possibly executed the guy who wrote it the day it was released?
^nah, the government actually monitors sites like that. It really tells them what really paranoid people are thinking and such...they talked about that site..above top secret and coast something on fox
Im confused...aware of their deaths as in when someone else of their kind dies or their own death? If their own death, thats kinda stupid, because we can't confirm if they are or are not aware.
Anyone hear Harder Than You Think by Public Enemy? That's where one of my favorite quotes come from. "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything". It's so true. I can't even count how many people I've been around that seem like mindless clones of each other. People that NEVER give their insight or opinions on anything because they don't have any. They just go with the flow and do anything other people want them to do because they think life is just easier that way. It's one of those quotes to live by.
dude, dont take offense to this, seriously but that was the stupidest post i have read in a loooong time being aware of your death means just that, you are aware that life isnt infinite, your gonna die, and you dont know how elephants brains are no where near that complex, there just animals my 11th grade teacher once got into this exact same thing and he made it sound way better, but yeah humans are the only ones that know there gonna die
Elephants are the only other species other than humans and neanderthals[21] known to have a ritual around death. They show a keen interest in the bones of their own kind (even unrelated elephants that have died long ago). They are often seen gently investigating the bones with their trunks and feet, and remaining very quiet. They also bury their dead[citation needed]. Sometimes elephants that are completely unrelated to the deceased will still visit their graves.[22] When an elephant is hurt, other elephants (also even if they are unrelated) will aid them.[10] Martin Meredith recalls an occurrence in her book about a typical elephant death ritual that was witnessed by Anthony Martin-Hall, a South African biologist who had studied elephants in Addo, South Africa for over 8 years. The entire family of a dead matriarch, including her young calf were all gently touching her body with their trunks and tried to lift her. The elephant herd were all rumbling loudly. The calf was observed to be weeping and made sounds that sounded like a scream but then the entire herd fell incredibly silent. They then began to throw leaves and dirt over the body and broke off tree branches to cover her. They spent the next 2 days quietly standing over her body. They sometimes had to leave to get water or food, but they would always return.[23] Occurrences of elephants behaving this way around human beings are common through Africa. On many occasions, they have buried dead or sleeping humans or aided them when they were hurt.[10] Meredith also recalls an event told to her by George Adamson, a Kenyan Game Warden regarding an old Turkana woman who fell asleep under a tree after losing her way home. When she woke up, there was an elephant standing over her, gently touching her. She kept very still because she was very frightened. As other elephants arrived, they began to scream loudly and buried her under branches. She was found the next morning by the local herdsmen, unharmed.[23] George Adamson also recalls when he shot a Bull elephant from a herd that kept breaking into the Government gardens of Northern Kenya. George gave the elephant’s meat to local Turkana Tribesmen and then dragged the rest of the carcass half a mile away. That night, the other elephants found the body and took the shoulder blade and leg bone and returned the bones to the exact spot the elephant was killed.[24] Scientists often argue the extent that elephants feel emotion. A large variety of animals display what appears to be ‘sorrow’ through body language, posture, movement and actions but seeing elephants standing over a body, burying them, refusing to leave and their trunks being observed hanging limp certainly seems evidence that perhaps much deeper and complex emotions are involved PWNED
Thanks for posting that Hammer. What Hammer posted adds heavily to the idea that they may be aware. Lost, none taken, and theres no one you can know which animals are or aren't aware. I may be wrong, and I wont take offense if you can show me something else...lifes about learning
Hammer that was actually pretty interesting I think they realize when others of their kind die and have rituals for it But What I was saying is I don't think they grasp that they are going to die at one point
thats sort of a "if a tree falls in the woods.." questions, theres no real way to find out.... i did read a study about cows, and basically what they did was read their brain waves while doing and showing the cows various stimuli such as, shocking the cow with a cattle prod, food, water, slaughter of other cows (seriously, you cant make that shit up), bright lights, loud noises.... the only responses from the brain were during loud bangs, food, and small spikes during the cattle proding
ok, you guys all go to africa and go ask a elephant how he feels about death then come back here, tell me what he said, and then ill tell you my opinion the best way im gonna compromise here is, hammer was right, "if a tree falls in the woods blah blah blah..." of course some animals have basic emotions, but that is totally different then the idea of death.... i dont know, i hate the human species, i could write a book for all the shitty things in this world....
^ I mean, its a pretty pointless discussion, because we can't really understand animals, can we? If you search random videos on YouTube, you can find one of some 4 legged animal (hippo? or some shit) getting attacked by lions. Later the herd of whatever got attacked comes back and charges the lions to try to get back the child who got taken by the lions. Some primates/monkeys/whatever are very possesive animals, and we can see this when they do stuff like kidnapping kids (happens in India) and nurturing and caring for them. We cant talk to them but we can observe it. It could also be that they understand the concept of death. Or how about domestic pets knowing who its owner is? They"understand" the concept, so is it possible other animals understand death? I mean, some of this seems more than basic emotion, seeing how a gorilla was taught sign language (even though ppl debate if it understands or is just doing it because it was being/is being rewarded). But I see what you mean, and you could be right as well. I also hate the human species. I read last year Plato's dialouge Republic. It shows how a logical society should be and shows how problems can be solved using thought, etc. too bad the real world isnt like that
