also a reason to use ur strap if u werent ; ) i said fuck the strap n then i dropped mine, luckily nothin was wrong with it, so i use the strap now.
word i thought the same thing, the only thinngg makin me wana do a lil switch is the 11 AF points on the D3000, theres only 3 on my d60 : ( but fuck em i dont need em lol.
Yeah, the d3000 has much noisier pictures at higher ISO's and is apparently very slow in operation. D40 is the one I'd get over all of the cheap nikons.
So i have been thinking about what i want to do as a photographer and have been leaning towards bands and stuff (shows and promo shots) and some portraits (senior portraits for ppl with little money) and modeling stuff. d40 still a good entry level choice? someone online said that its not a great choice for portraits
I don't really understand why a d40 wouldn't be good for portraits. If thats the kind of thing you want to do your better off getting a cheap body and sinking money into lenses.
^^ i say it would look better desaturated instead of straight up black and white just my opinion though new shit: ..i was really happy with this batch
Carla's hot, prob dont wanna use spot colouring too much in your photos though, its wayyy overdone, maybe desaturate the background and make her 'pop' a bit more
Haha a lot of opinions being thrown around here, Channa knows what he's doing I think. Busy scanning my 20 or so films I've shot over the past year, so hopefully will have something decent to show soon.
nooo way, that photo is 100% the way it is, it captures the girl perfectly, i wouldnt have done anything differently perfectly executed photo, the girl "pop's" just enough without over doing it
