ive had 2 of x1's and x2's. i still think x3 is the best, but people have there own opinions. and use a X1 on a computer as a mic, and then use a x3, see which one sounds more processional

You mean music where 90-pound white dudes with curly hair and beards whose wardrobe consists solely of white tee's, skintight jeans, and beanies sing about their ex in a soprano voice? No, thanks.

I just started writing my own stuff about 2 months ago.
This is the beginnings of something I'm writing.
I think lots of people have this problem. I dont think it's ver good so crits are appreciated.

yo, it's like i'm never satisfied with a verse,
critical with my lyricals scratchin' phrases and words,
    I had something to say,
something on my mind I wanted to communicate,
so I sat down and thought but nothing came out,
and when it did I found myself scratchin' it out,
It seems to me I'm my own biggest critic no doubt,
I scrutinize my rhymes always second guessing myself,
    I over analyze the process
so it's about time for me to take a minute,
    chill out and reflect,
strive for perfection but it's always dragging me down,
rhymes is all about the message so I gotta chill out,

Yep those people who know how to play instruments unlike your... 350 pound fat n1ggers with curly hair that looks horribly burnt, whos wardrobe consists of sports jerseys of groups they don't even support, and jeans 2x their size so that we can see their boxers attempt to sing about how shitty their life is and how noone understands how much pain they had trying to sell drugs when they could've made the same amount of money at 7-Eleven, example Biggies song:
Well dumbshit you wouldn't have to sell drugs to support your daughter if you got a job, which is something black people are terrified of.

Here's some Dream Theater for you wanna be gangsters:

Wait so you're stereotyping that every graffiti writer MUST listen to Hip-Hop?
Wait I respect Hip-Hop not Rap.
Which is what this thread is about.
I'm down for some Jurassic 5, Beastie Boys, Roots and people who have meaningful lyrics.
Not I fuck every girl, I'm a millionare, I love killing people lyrics.

Ya I know what you're sayin'. There was a nice little connection in all three verses. But that's only probably because they were written to no beat.(Dunno if they were) If you pay attention and listen to people freestyle to no beat they usually have a very similar tempo.

Unless of course you're talking about the instructorials references to some shitty artists, which in that case you must realise, the content of this thread was created via ctrl c ctrl v

Rap and Hip-Hop aren't the same thing.
    Learn something about music moron.

And once again GRAFFITI ISN'T ABOUT HIP-HOP, stop playing Mark Eckos Getting up you dumb shits.
I got respect for hip-hop, real lyricists who take time. Not these fucking kids rapping about being fucking superman.

You're funny kid, I love how you try to expand your already shitty vocabulary by using words I know you really don't use in real life.
I'll let you have your 5 minutes of glory.
Stop fending artists who don't give 2 shits about you and listen to real music.

I love when people makes assumptions, it just screams "I don't have valid arguments"

Because reading my comment, I didn't see any words out of anyone's avarage vocabulary. If words like reference and via are new and confusing to you, I suggest to spend some time studying your own language.

But I guess I'll go back to listen to my fifty cent and all that other gangsta music, because anyone defending hip hop MUST be a wigger who likes songs about guns and hoes...

    ...Right?

    hip hop = a culture
rap = music of said culture

It just happened to be that when people think of rap, they only think of the "gangsta rap" so widely available on mtv.
