because theyre built by companies that are based in countries other than our own? i dont know how people drive where youre from, but the dude who drives that car races it and makes some serious money. on and off the track. all summer id go to the races every weekend which is incredibly fun. and by races i mean street races. theres some serious rivalries between speed shops out here on who can build the fastest street car.
hahah yea its called you put your money where your mouth is...and if your car doesnt run as fast as your mouth...then be prepared to get owned..
you are the moron mate....it is actually ridiculously hard to put a lot of bhp down through the tyres to the road.....800bhp is very un-needed.....what you need is a very light car with about 300bhp and then you are talking about a good fast car......for example lotus elise excige with a k20....that car is ridiculous..... now this is a sexy car jaguar e-type....how much that cost?
sounds good man....lovely car and a nice colour has it been re-sprayed? or is it its original colour/paint?
nope me and my dad completley gutted the inside and redid it. and the original color was some uglyyy ass yellow but we thought the red would be fly as hell.
yer man it looks very nice....yer i heard jags are not a shit build quality but everything like the electrics all deteriorates so its worth doing a proper restore....nice work though
Chances are if someone has enough brains and money to bring a 4g63 up over 700 bhp they arent going to overlook the drivetrain.
yer but still.....a lot of people just think "i know turbo etc etc and it will work".....they never think of simple stuff like what size tyres...what gearbox....what flywheel etc.....i mean its little things people dont think of.....
Also, the Lotus Elise and Exige are two completely different cars, even though they look similar. They have Toyota engines not Honda... Lotus' are great for the twisties, but that DSM is most definitely a straight-line car.
why put a vtec in it? the standard rs turbo lumps they have can push up to about 180-210bhp, just replace the bottom end with a zetec and you could get a bit more or even just get a 2 litre zetec from a mondeo and turbo it, id expect that would still be cheaper than trying to put a vtec in. speaking of engine conversions, i dream of a mk2 escort with a cosworth engine n totally stripped mmm
