haha for reals. go to a racetrack and ask some rednecks they know all about that shit I worked with this guy who looked like Farva from super troopers and this fuck would sit out in his car on breaks listening to that shit all the time, he had a CB or whatever in his narc mobile. Buddys car was wack too, had those stick on hood scoops and spinner hub caps.
way to stick your foot in your mouth, think about it dude. your already doing something illegal, you're already commiting a crime by doing graffiti... hahahahahaha

But I don't want ya'll to get in more trouble than you would already... I was just wondering if someone was already using one, I wouldn't use it do do graffiti but I would be listening to avoid speed traps. I was reading about it on a radar detector site and I was just trying to get a second opinion... I'm very sorry guys. I'll try to keep my Big Mouth shutt.
my dad has a handheld one its a lil heavy i wouldent bring it bombing or tagging but it would be perfect for trains and piecing at semi chill spots daytime but you need a licence to have it
i still am pissed abotu him gettign a mod position, before he got that one everything was all and well, he makes too many changes, the websites like school now, so many rules and shit and its hard now haha
Really, though, it's illegal to use a scanner while committing a crime... so don't do it...
um... it's illegal to commit a crime period. thats why its called a fucking crime.
If anyone gives a fuck i have a whole book with all the chanels for everything from airplane traffic to the 5-0 along with the translations for alot of the code that all of said operations use, for all of i think Canada , im not sure ,its been a while since ive looked at it. But anyway im willing to scan some of the book if anyone requests some info. PM me *shrugs* and for all you legal freaks, its completely legal ,this book that is u can get it anywere but of course i can't be held responsible if u choose to use the info i may be supplying to commit a crime.
I'm going to cop me one of these really soon. Today was a perfect example of why a scanner would be perfect. Painting a freight and an engine rolls up to take the line away.. bringing along with it workers. Having a radio would for one give me advance notice and two let me know if they saw me and are reporting it too the cops. If you can find kamloops BC in that book I'd be really grateful artcrime!
LOL. my warn level is zero. and i have an exploit for 1.3 forums but ive tried this forum before and its patched. LAWLSZ.

Yeah, nothing you do on the internet is truly anonymous... you can make it as tough as possible but there's no way to hide your IP. If you could, you wouldn't be able to pull webpages. There are some sites that can track just about everything, your IP, your ISP, your country, your computer's language, your OS, your internet browser and version, your monitor resolution and color depth, if you clicked on a link to get to the site, and even the version of Java and Flash installed. If they used a search engine, it tells you which one they used and what they were searching for. Now, if you're leeching off of your neighbor's WiFi, then you're scott free, because it looks like you're them instead of you. They could get in trouble for it, though. That's why my WiFi uses WPA2 encryption.

whatever happend to just asking the cop nicely to hand over the radio or youll shoot there grandmother in the hip?
police scanners arent illegal unless u are using them 2 help u commit a crime seeing as every person on here probably is i dunno. there still pretty rad i have one and it lets u know whre the cops are and where not to go sometimes it funny cause they will like make comments on it like " has any one checked out that slut infront of the library i think she wa sin that video we got in the other week" lol
haha me and one of my friends were smoking weed in his garage and we turned on the scanner, we listened to cops and they were discussing about groceries like where you buy em and where are the good deals at... im glad to see my taxes are used wisely!
go to a racetrack and ask some rednecks they know all about that shit
I was wondering why you said this... I just figured it out today. I was at Wal-Mart and they had this scanner for listening to NASCAR drivers during races! Too bad I'm not a NASCAR fan! I hate the RadioShack here, too. The owner is a big Nazi. Got some foreign accent you can't understand if you tried. Luckily he wasn't there tonight but there isn't jack shit in that store... got to go a friggin hour away to get to a decent RadioShack.
