Woe Not to be a dick or anything
    But it's not really philly
    Make em tall and skinny
    Make em walk you know?
Go out look on the philly thread here or on twelve ounce prophet
and study it till you can read it well and you start to get the feel for them try copy the letter strokes and all that and try and find real phillyheads ask them about what you're doing wrong and how you could improve it, because obviously talking to me isn't really going to help you.

    Anyways, here's something from tonight
  5. ^ im really diggin those drips.

but i cant make out the first letter.

im not from philly or have any extensive knowledge thereof, but i dont think its horrible, i went back a page to track down what you were talking about and when i looked at it i knew immediatly what it was supposed to be before i read your words above the pic...

im sure someone from philly will have somethin mean to say tho...

diggin the S, and the O. i am kinda biased tho, in my younger years i wrote sour, and i wrote my s's and o's very similar sometimes, with the downward hook on the s and the line in the o...
very nice, but the k just doesnt quite match the flow of the s, and the o. maybe try the loop back from the s, on the right side of the k's bottom leg so its not jagged like that...
if that makes since, hell i dunno, it might look worse too...
im not good at givin crits but im kinda drunk and it sounded like it would work in my head

    *good-night losers*

    is that etch?
i don't really need crits on these cause i know they suck horribly. they were done at super akward angles, and i didn't really get any flicks of some better ones. don't even really know why i'm posting them.

Next time try holding on to the top to stabalize yoursef more
    and go a little slower

I hate bus tags there so akward.

nah both were subway tags. and they could have been better if less people had been on, but it was in the middle of the day on a saturday in chicago, so i literally had a person right next to me, and all around me, so i had to look super inconspicuous while catching tags, ha.

Modes; remember to give crits if you want them..

Cool start. My advice is to go simpler with the letters because you're only starting and need to know what builds a letter. Once you can nail good looking simples you're ready to progress from there.. Post up a simple please.

Here's my crits on the tag anyway:
Lose the extension on the M. Don't need those quote things above the O. Lose those extension things off the D. Lose the line above the E. Do a different style S.. and also remember to keep all the letters the same size for now.

    happy writing, keep at it

I guess I have to give crits to receive, even though I know virtually nothing about hand style

Modes - Try and keep your letters the same size and distance between. Like how your D and O is a lot smaller then every other letter.

Been writing for 2 weeks about this is what i got so far. I went a little crazy with the accessories but...

Says Burnt, been my nickname since 7th grade. bad quality.

Modes: Ditch everything, and start out with nice, simple, rounded off letters. Just casual letters. That's what I did a while back ago, and it worked for me. Just work with it.

Burnt: I like how you went simple. I just thought that your R was a P, and your T was an L. Maybe it's because I'm really bad at distinguishing letters sometimes. But on the other hand, they are pretty scrunched together. Keep the style, mix it up, practice, and spread 'em out just a little bit more. That's my opinion.

    [Broken External Image]:

It reads Measure. MSR for short. Crits please?
And yes, the A and R reallllly need work.
