this is one of the most untrue and deceiving things i have ever heard.

tagging is one of the important and most noticed parts of graf. having a good hand
can make the difference of being liked or hated before blowing up. even many famous
writers say that one can tell if someone has been in the game for a long time and is
well rounded in the graffiti area by their good handies. while the good handstyles
may not pertain to all writers, such as sever of MSK. Even though I think
that his handies are amazing, he says that he has a bad handstyle.
I feel, that it is very important to develop a good handie first before
    going into throwies or pieces.
i have at least 30+ cheap $1 spiral notebooks filled only with handies, but
    hey, thats just me.

develop a good or at least a little better than average hand
then start doing throws(all the while practicing your handie)
then after you got throws down pat, move into the piecing area.

    handstyles are tres important. [/b][/quote]
you just feel like typing today dont you?

Please no flames. I am a toy, and I am experimenting with this name. Suggestions? Just no flames please. I was thinking something like "bling marks" to spice it up... or just something good in general. lol

    Gotta agree with this.

Tags are probably the most important part of graff (IMO anyways).

I think it was twist who said 'always have a dope handy, then everyone will want to see more of your shit'.

Cheat, it's not too bad, kinda has an old school feel to it for some reason. Try adding abit more curve into it, kinda like on your 'h'.

EVAKuation, I'm assuming it says 'Evak"' from your screen name, looks like 'Fvak' though. Too much negative space, needs a bit more style, seems like you're trying to hide a below average handy with a lot of drips.

Shifted, first 'S' is real nice, second is so-so. I'm assuming the middle character is a greek alphabet one, lambda or something, the one that stands for wavelength in physics haha. If it isn't I don't know what the fuck it is haha.

Gear, dunno what to say besids practice more, needs a lot of work.

riddlebox...you sharing that with us all made us all realize how toy and how little undersanding you have for this art

a tag is the basis of everything, when you develop your first tag, your piece and throw style come off of that, a shitty handstyle will show through your work, handstyles are the single most important part of graffiti, and most definetly the aspect you should master and take long to do....im not saying it will take long necisarily, but its always good to practice and practice until your hand is perfect

ask any experienced writer about handstyles or tags and see what they say.....do me a favor and learn your history and get some knowlege about graffiti before you come here and open your unexperienced mouth

i agree with fosale 100%, and so will most writers on here

bombs and pieces are more important to master first huh?...nah, your 180% wrong....go learn your history man

d_g...its a fucked up T, and whoever was wondering where it was at, it was in a jcpennys bathroom...i have lots more pics but for some reason my phone doesnt want to let me copy them to the mini sd card

Oh yup, I see it now. It's not too bad, I think it would be better if it was on less of an angle to match up to the other letters.

    STS your crew or something?

Lmao, Fosale! Keeping score... Add another one to you man, Handies are crucial
Which is the reason I scribble in my book over, and over, and over, and over, and over... and never get bored or annoyed.. And I'm not crazy either!

Alright, i haven't posted shit in a longggggg time.. so here's some handies im working on, which one is better? I know, hard to compare cause they are both diff. styles, whatever.
