I need to about double the drying time for a varathaine stain based ink, its a great red-maroon colour, stains well, covers well, and for the most part works great. Its just that it dries ever so slowly. I made a small batch and tested it a few hours ago to see how it turned out, great btw but no pictures at the moment, and the fucker is still damp(almost three hours later). Its pretty thick as it is. It goes on nice, makes its runs then sorta solidifies on the surface. This all happens in a great time span, but it takes forever for it to dry through and through. The problem that I see is if someone goes to buff it while its like this its gonna smear out really bad and fuck up my ghost, leaving a illegible mess. I need to find something to speed it up as winter is coming soon, that sucks, and it doesn't like to dry nicely as is. I'm thinking maybe japan dryer, but I have no experience with it. Any suggestions?
