Why? Ive heard acetone is a better base then alcohol.
What is raven oil and what's its use?
edit: Can we discuss PAINT in this thread too? There is no paint discussion thread.... I would like to know some good paint additives and they're purpose. Hopefully some paint experts can chime in. All I know of so far is oil based wood stain and linseed oil. What does linseed oil do? I also remember someone mentioning Bitumen (sp). Bitumen is just tar, right? And Japan drier to help dry faster.
I know, I know. This is the INK thread and most people in here would take ink over paint any day, but lets not forget how dope paint is .
thanks for the help on my question, you guys r dope
and i dont have any idea about raven oil or anything other up ther^
because i live in holland and we have different (less) supplies here
idk... prolly not but....
linseed is a suspension for things that wont mix by themselves?
i've heard the same thing about bitumen
no idea... rofl... japan drier... i could make a joke here but wont
acetone based cant be put into a squeeze mop, it will eat through the plastic, and it evaporates off the surface and leaves ur tag like dust
^it will dissolve mops, if you use the wrong type of mop, and no it doesnt leave dust... unless you tried addign liek carbon powder to it without suspending it
and linseed oil suspends pigmetns for oil based paints
bitumen in liek asphalt, hard to buff black oil based thick goo, thin it with naphtha and add carbon and dyes
Hett i'm starting to think you might be some sort of chemistry teacher XD
aha nah ive just made alot of ink over the years
yo sadistic fuck it talk about paint mixes all you want in here, ink or paint it doesnt matter if it goes in a mop then its all gravy
random flick for talking
so, how good is o!nk ink?
Apparently it will never be buffed completely. Personal experiences?
wtf?? griffin shoe polish?? i thought it was only the leather dye
acetone as in nail polish remover right?
doesnt that come in plastic, so why should it dissolve the mop?
sorry if im missing something..
that ink is fuckin balls. so fucking hard to buff it's a joke.
H3tt is one of the only ink heads that still frequents this thread. I applaud his dedication.
on the topic of certain solvents disolving plastics, the TYPE of plastic is very important. A solvent that might not disolve the bottle it is packaged in could still do damage to your marker body if it is the wrong plastic.
to the guy with the shitty pen ink: did you use regular ballpoint pens? Maybe you used gel pens instead. I'm not sure the outcome if gelpens are used, I'm just speculating a possible cause.
hey faggets, one part rusto, one part thinner, do i win?
Witches Brew! Denver native!
anyone used the illadel ink? just got a refill bottle, their markers arent my favorite but has anyone used the ink?
Nope. You fail.
It's 2 parts rusto, 1 part thinner, and its the most basic paint recipe there is.
you basically told us how to boil water, but screwed up the directions.
this is bullshit, its only good for bleeding through when painted over, its actually pretty easy to remove with a chemical buff
nail polish remover is acetone and a buncha other random shit.
and yea as vagrant said the type of plastic matters, i think it comes in HDPE plastic, which is pretty resistent to solvents. you should pretty mcuh be good with any mops as long as its not like PS or maybe ldpe
