yeah, i was trying to do that for a while before i drew that S but i was having a tough time with the dead space that is created from that approach and the bar that shoots up from the bottom bar of that new S was hard for me to figure out, any spot that it comes out of looks awkward, the extension off the end of the b can be balanced by one coming from the S, also the issue of how long to make the middle bar on the S comes up alot bc if it's too long than it looks awkward in comparison to the rest of the letters and looks alot bigger than it should. thanks for the crits, looks like i gotta spend more time on the drawing board with this one. might try to balance it out with the 3-d. edit: and the crosses are there for a theme which i shall continue by doing a little something on the side of the piece. character or symbol or something, figure it out later. i find putting a theme to my pieces lets me give a little spice to the letters, decide on a color scheme alot easier and possibly throw some artsy fartsy shit in there too.
brb-feeling that amer other sketch below that seems to wild kringe-id get rid of the part comming off on rightside top of the N, then squash the N in then make and s the same style of your E scissor- the R needs some work in the middle where it connects like the middle of the b knowledge i have no idea what that says simple it up a bit mori-m's a bit weird other then that solid dave- you should get some better markers clean it up a bit would like mint, but the k in the guys hat looks like an r, and the green r in the second picture is a weird combo, i dont like it to much but thats jus me. big ben-lets see some of your simpler stuff Just finished a sketched i started a few days ago. I feel ya. I would have used the top of that bar but I didn't want the letter to go under the character
what sucks is that if you do a 3d piece... bitch toys think that your an art fag and it took you 7 drafts to finally do it...
