@arose, i feel u bruh, i got respect for it, just call it hipster graff bc thats the ppl who do it near me, feel me? no disrespect in the meaning. shit is different and takes it owns skill i just dont prefer it but thats just me
@Nos Looking A LOT better. try keeping the same style except making the top of your letters curved instead of swooping downward.
had no time for sketching so thought i would do a quick throwie since i need to practise that a lot to
Street art is all about making the city look better and shit. Graff is about fucking up shit. I guess pieces look good to other people, but pieces are really more for showing other writers your skill and experience of letters. http://www.mook-life.com/montreal-legal-murals-giving-back-to-the-community/ and also crits plz
Yeah I'm from Georgia. Live in the rural areas. I just say Atlanta cause if I don't then nobody knows where the hell I live.
if it's only about fucking shit up then who cares what your shit looks like, stay toy forever. don't progress, don't sign the same name, just kick in windows, and take sledgehammers to brick walls.
My bad, I don't mean its only about fucking shit up. I meant that damage is one of the reasons/motivations for graff, but not street art. I was trying to differentiate between street art and graff. No matter how dope your tags or throwups are, most people think it's gang related or some shit. "Man, I love graffiti.... My shit is hard and boy do I hate "street art". I'ma let it be known, GRAFFITI IS NOT STREET ART, but most people don't understand that. I hate it when I talk to some folks on some shit like, "Yeah, I love graffiti" and they're like, "Oh, do you know Bansky?" I want to strangle these people to death when they talk shit like that. I represent real graffiti from its purest form. I don't do characters and fancy stuff like that, I only fuck with letters. I love handstyles; it's the basic element of all graffiti. I personally believe that no matter how good you are at piecing, if you can't rock a proper tag, you's a toy, no doubt." - Killa EF "Graffiti writers should love graffiti. The people in the public should hate it." -Katsu
