Why don't you go find out?

If your scared, go buy a trash can, see if it seems like you can do it, then return it and do it at another location.

But it seems as some people have gotten it to work...

it'll look weird if you're 13-17 buying a trashcan, i bought a trashcan because i actually needed it after some idiot ran into the previous one, and i was at selfcheckout. a lady comes up to me and asks me if she could look inside the trashcan and i said no and continued to try scanning it, she took off the lid and looked inside. she then asked me why i was buying a trashcan and i asked why she took off the lid, then she grilled at me and walked away. i was dressed like a typical skater, and was the idiot who ran into the previous trash can.

    ^lol probably true..
i don't think its worth it, probably like a 50/50 chance of getting caught.. but for some reason i often think about trying it, should I or is it to risky?

I got an idea, how about everyone except me goes out and buys a trash can at walmart and see what happens.

Try it at the self check out, see if theres any problems of if anyone checks inside it.

I bet you it would work at kmart though...

If you can play up the scene enough, but I doubt most kids will be able to do it. Would need to be an adult, pay your parents.

Definitely would want a friend in their to meet you so that you can fill it faster.

It could definitely work, just find the right store, and the right way to do it.

worst come to worst, get a reciept for a trash can, and act like you paid for it so you can show that receipt when you go out, and if that don't work...RUN RUN RUN.

Seriously stop being pussies and do it guys, I can't right now for numerous reasons.

Well if you put shit in a garbage can, it will rattle around and anyone near you would be able to hear it no doubt. Why not try something smaller? The idea of putting cans into another thing is a great idea but dont but it in something thats goign to make noise or sometihng that they will look inside of.

Why not try and get something thats in a medium sized box that sells for cheap. Take the item out and fill it with paint tins. They aren't going to check and see wtf is inside that box. Just go and to self check out and make sure you just be steady.

thats it? almost every store here would call your parents if you're under 18 to come get you. does lowes have a policy or something?

i think that hardwear stores like lowes and home depot have to call your rents if your cought. cause sometimes they make you pay for the cans, but here in america you cant buy paint unless your under 18

in some places it's 18. i went into a hardware store and the clerk told me i had to be 21 to have them just open the cage for me. that kinda pissed me off so when he turned around and started walking away I grabbed a rusto through the side of the cage, stuffed it in my pants and followed him out.

    bahahaha
in new york you have to be 21 even to buy a marker. its bullshit cause there so concerned about people "vandalizing" there neighborhoods and making the "crime rate go up"
shits fuckin retarded. the graf doesnt make the crime rate go up, its cause there are no cops in the neighborhood that the crime rate goes up. shit.

Thats what the clerk said, hes all "i dont know what you're gonna use it for, i dont want to have fucking shit on my walls, and the crime rates go up" yet he sold a box cutter to a 14year old thug.

idk how many of you rack clothes,
    but i do sometimes.
take two of the same colored shirts to the dressing room,
hide one under the other, the person will put a number on your door,
you go in and rip off the tags, and that plastic sensor thing,
[its good to have your phone go off, or play music so they can't hear you ripping off the tags]
you can stuff it in your pants, or wear it under your clothing,
KEEP the tags and the sensor.
walk out of the dressing room, the person will ask if you're gonna buy it,
say yes, if you say no, they'll take the clothes,
walk around the store and put the tags under a pile of clothing, or in jean pockets
then just leave the shirt or buy the shirt and return it the next day
[thats if you feel like they're watching you]

thats actually a good idea. but i dont know how to tear off the sensors without ripping the shirt. cause its metal and they have a special tool for that.

Normally what I do is go through the clothes until I find one without a sensor on it, then take that one. There isn't always one, though, so I'm not sure how effective it'd be for some of you pickier people.

A simple magnet, and a little force can get it right out.
or you can press down on both sides, and use the 'make fire' trick.

if i was already outsdie of the store and they tried to grab me i would of just run. if your in the store and they try to pop you then you cant cause they would of radios ahead telling them to lock the doors. which has actually happened to one of my friends i might add.

but if your close to the doors and they try to get you you could probly still run. once your outside if they grab you you can just punch them and if the cops grab you tell them that you thought he wanted to fight you. once anybody touched you and you swing back its self defense.

did the guy take your backpack? cause if he did you should go back there and bitch em out cause he has no right to take it. there supposed to give the bag back unless its used as evidence.
