    AND!

    Joe Huffer's Paint Shop Presents:

16 writers face off in Round 1 of the Ultimate Huffer graffiti battle.

FEATURING: Sohoe VS. Mozy, Smug VS. Osker, Globe VS. Chuck, Vektr VS. RezOne, Worth VS. Motel, Getso VS. Baesr, Hungr VS. Near, Ekwal VS. Kismet

    RULES FOR ROUND 1:
For each battle, the two writers were supplied by us with the same 6 colours (colour scheme's chosen from pre-arranged schemes at random by the writers) and also brought their own black and white for a total of 8 cans. They were given the word they were to write at the same time and had 3 hours to complete their piece including any sketch time. The finished pieces were shown to Toronto writers Bacon and Wyspr as well as Emanuel from Montana Cans North America to be judged based on colour usage, letter structure, and overall aesthetic. The leftover paint from each battle was taken and kept for the winner of each battle who also moves on to the next round.

Why do you care so much about other people and where they get paint from.

because racking is part of graffiti... if you wanna buy your paint and hit up chill spots before earning the right to do so you cant call yourself a writer.

so what about wack kids that rack their paint and hit up chill spots before they deserve to do so? if you can afford decent paint then whatever, if not, WHATEVER. it's not important how you get your paint, what's important is how you use it. there's no time limit for when someone is allowed to start buying paint. personally i'd rather avoid the theft under charges for some wack ass home depot/canadian tire paint, especially for burners.

Yo B, the game cares how you get your paint, gotta keep it street. You can have the nicest burners and throw-ups but if you buy the paint it leaves a big sign over your stuff that says "disqualified for purchasing supplies".

Pffft, what a joke. If you can afford paint - buying it makes life easier. Good point Nancy Botwin.

I just wanted to bump this and say what an awesome idea this is to have such a well structured and friendly battle, with such an amazing roster at that.

I can't wait to see round two.
