is it gay to base your character off a symbol? onre guy in my town made a ghost guy, but he based it off of the toy machine charecter(you should know this if you skateboard) and i was wondering if that is totally stupid?

 

its called biting.

and yes. its usually pretty stupid. depending on how much alike they are. if it just influenced him, however, then no. we all take influence in our work from other artists.

Not bad, but whats with the thin nose and eyes? Kinda out of porportion.

 

ya, n make it cleaner..........remember, u can go over the black wif the color if ya make mistakes..........n so ur black outline aint so bad ,use long controlled strokes

yeah i did most of the face with stencils lol yeah ill try to get it cleaner next time thanks for crits guys.

 

nope used a gay marker that ran out while i was using it.

1 - you dont need a fucking stencil for that, just try practising on a piece of wood or sumthing
2 - DONT use pencil or marker or w.e.....get some decent caps and practise wit them....a variation of sizes (eg. thin cap on the facial features) would make it look sooo much better
3 - try to add a little shading in the face area because it looks a little empty atm
4 - sorry bro, but the outline is terrible....if you screw up, try cutting back with the fill color
5 - the outline on the sides of the head is too big, it looks like he gotta fat head

Thats niice I like the size of it. It would prbably be better if the shading was more accutate but thats better than anything I can do right now so I like it alot.
