Haha bump to pies pic of suburban white kids throwin up signs, recently got ahold of decently good digi and stated playing around with it like last week. gonna venture to the woods with it my girl and some cid to see what I can get.

 

just got a call from the shop today and turns out oone small part in my nikon is gonna cost my 600 dollars to fix. fml end of my photography 4 ever....

how do you resize photos?

 

SO my slr is toast. Any one have any suggestions on a cheap digital slr? im thinking of just jewing out and getting a d5000.

 

i use imageshak it gives you an option to resize fotos when you upload to messageboard size

 

you could get a used one
cannon rebel xti's are pretty good, idk if your intrested in those but the micro 4/3 cameras are pretty good i like the olympus e-pl1

 

I don't understand why there is this thread when there is a perfectly good photography thread in the pictures forum. If your getting ignored its cos your photos are boring. Post interesting photos and you will get crits/compliments. Of course if you post 20 shit photos of leaves you are going to get ignored.

Instead of getting offended and making toy threads just improve your photography. It's pretty simple really. Toys can't give other toys crits or advice so whats the point of this thread.

altho i see your point, whats wrong with having 2 photo threads? dont be lazy just because you dont want to check out both threads. its threads like this "toy photography" that get kids into taking pictures. just about every thread that makes it in the gallery grows to be overly pretentious, thus killing fresh crops of new talent. Be that Graffiti or Photography.

 

I am lazy, and I don't see the point of having to check two threads. Overly pretentious... not really. If you can't deal with criticism than what does that say about your work being posted? Besides the people with the knowledge who can actually help you are in the other photography thread. Toys telling other toys whats good and bad is NOT a good thing.

 

Besides, most of the shit I see in here is actually pretty good and makes me wonder why some of it wasn't posted in the other thread in the first place!
