yeah, i actually use stencil plastic or w.e the fuck, but my parents owned a stencil business back in the day most people just use cereal box cardboard or something though =/
Nah, it's true. Wish there were more women doing this kinda thing. What I do is use mylar sheets - trace the image with a permanent ink pen and cut them with a precision blade. It's the same material that you use in school for transparencies on the overhead projector. But I am hopefully getting a pyrograph soon, to use instead of the blade. You can make circles much easier. The mylar lasts longer than cardboard and is easier to cut details, but after a while it gets a lot of spraypaint buildup and then you don't get as clear an image.
I just use posterboard. Like the kind you used to use for science fair projects in elementary school. Works good for me.
Yeah I made one out of cardboard but it was fucking hard to make it perfect, I think I need a better knife probably, and yeah I'll try out poster board now...

Yea, i agree with you that there should be more females geting up. anyway, stencils mats. i either make my stencil in photoshop or MS ghetto, then i print that shit attach it to a peice of fking card board. then i cut that shit out with a exacto knife. and i think i has some skills with cutting dbl ply cardboard. peep dis shit >>> >.> i like the second one better. also, i dont stencil much anymore
