not sure how to go about entering the poll 1st day
you can enter the battles only before they are polled offcourse, you can find that battles in the "find battles here" thread.
When you got your sketch ready pm it to the moderator of that battle.
simple as that
damit wasted my paint lol oh well practice is what it is, thanx for the help
WGONE killed this. That C is so sick.
Close between WGONE and Dreams...but WG gmv
Just curious, do i net get as many votes because i take advantage of the graph paper?
To be honest, zoup, its mostly because you ignore the help the graph paper is offering. Try to make your letters symmetrical in width and height for a little bit before trying to add so much funk. Your letters are unbalanced (although your 3d seems to be legit since you used the paper) Not hating, just helping. As you can see, I have no votes either. lol. Gotta start using color in these battles.
What do you mean funk? when I think funk I think arrows and bits.
I'm using funk simply to mean extending/modifying your bars. But sure, the "funk" style has a lot of smooth bends, super colorful, with extensions and arrows.
But anyway. All I'm saying is make your letters Symmetrical and focus on flow rather than just trying to make complicated letters.
zoup.... I'd say bring your letters back to simples, much like nouveau's entry, simple but fresh. Simples when done right can burn hard as fuck. When you better understand simples and bar structure, you'll have a better understanding of lettering and flow, and from there you'll progress
I see what you're saying. Ill continue practicing simples.
NouveauP the shorter word just doesn't suit your simpler style, don't let votes tell you how good you are that shit is on point. I would like to see how you go busting out a more complicated piece though.
Ahh nah, I'm not worried about votes. And I'm trying to add little more to my style, but my piecing development is coming slow. But yeah I got a little more complex and colorful for the GLAM battle, so we'll see how that goes. Thanks for the kind words, Semp!
^Probably one of the few times on the forum iv seen crits that helpful, and received that well. Great stuff guys, everyone deserves a win.
