This one guy was telling me that there are graff classes in downtown Chicago going on.
The classes are taught by a member of the X-Men Crew, who the person is is an enigma to me. But apparently it's free and after each class they give you a can of Montana.

this is a retarted idea just goes to show how mainstream graffiti is getting from posters to clothing whats next... " urban gap "
and now school's.. anyone who would "attend" these fucking seminars is a toy in my book... learn on your own or dont learn at all..... half the fun is learning new tecniques on your own because once you have learned them your fucking hyped and you will never forget that shit and you get a sence of self accomplishment..

It's not a bad idea, it advances graffiti but at the same time, a fuck load of new people will start writing and they'll all be toys. learn yourself and be orginal not some generic piece of shit

Yeah, i wrote that last year and my views have changed now. Its just bringing down our culture to the point that we'll be seen as more playyed out than emo's. Its also going to bring in a whole bunch of toys who are only in it as a fad, it prevents graff from pushing out toys so that all the real real writers will be inundated with toys in their cities. why bring this thread up again?

    are you fuckin retarded?^

the commercialization of an underground culture is what kills it

we need to stop thinkin shit like graff school is a good idea... or else they will think we all love it and they should do more shit like a second getting up game and shit

and with shit like that we now get more toys who think they are hard and dont get up or anything

its all bullshit.. stay true to the art
