I’m an artist and writer based in Brisbane, Australia. I grew up in a small coastal town; graffiti
wasn’t on my radar until I moved to the city. It was the train rides that opened my
eyes—trackside pieces and vibrant panels caught my attention, sparking a fascination that
would soon become an obsession. One day, while waiting for a train, a full-colour piece rolled
into the station, and I was utterly blown away. It featured Ronald McDonald holding a syringe,
captioned, “The poor are hooked, now we raise the prices!” It was a Yanoe DTS piece and
character by Seiko Dts, and it changed everything for me. From that moment, I dove headfirst
into graffiti, learning aerosol techniques and mastering large-scale painting in any way I could.
I was fortunate to connect with some of Brisbane’s best writers and artists—Detoks TFH, Sofles
DTS, Reals WTCS, the BNF crew, Fintan Magee, and Guido Van Helton, among others. These
artists helped me realise how much could be achieved and that the possibilities were limitless,
fueling my drive to paint, eventually leading me to paint full-time.
Now, it’s been nearly two decades, and I’ve been painting and writing, always striving to create
my best work while enjoying the process and having fun along the way. Shoutout to the Wtcs
crew—Meks, Bore, Dmise, Cekios, Bous, Zok, Reals, Ders, Gerns and Kure.
