I’ve been writing now for around 10 years now. I started off by sneaking into construction sites and stealing the trashy marking paint cans that they had lying around which looked terrible as you can imagine but I was hooked from the get-go.
I’m from Ireland but I’ve been traveling around a lot and currently based in the Netherlands. Traveling and meeting new writers and getting exposed to different styles is what fuels my fire in terms of writing, it has also subconsciously developed my style and mindset.
I think one of the most difficult things in graff is to name your favorite writers. The list is just so long and so many writers are pushing the boundaries more and more every week. To name a few would be GESER(3A), TOTEM(Tats Cru), RIOT 1394, MOTICK, DATER(Love Letters Crew) & RATE(Nls Znc).
My style has developed a lot over the last few years due to a lot of experimental ideas and concepts I’ve been playing around with. I’m constantly pushing myself to paint something different than what’s going on around me. I’m also an obsessive sketcher and do a lot of illustration so I use that background and merge it with graff to create storytelling pieces that make people stop and check out all the elements in the piece rather than a passing glance.
