I write Mibs One (aka Mibsy) ATR & 245. I’m originally from Wollongong, Australia, now based in Sydney. I originally started tagging back around 1994/95 after seeing early Age, Hate and Rank II tags around my hometown and then racking my first Hype Mag from a local news agency. I did my first piece in 1996. Back then local writers Idiot, Pudl, Keno, Slap618, Pearl and Spud were killing it and Sydney kings Unique, Snarl, Days, Skore, Unity and Phive were dropping pure fire.
I feel like my style is a bit of a mixed bag that has always been in a constant state of evolution. I rarely sketch and never really stick to any one style for too long, more rotating and tweaking several different styles as I go. I like to find new ways to funk out or tech up my letters, experiment with both positive and negative space, ultimately looking for a combination of style and symmetry.
