Whatsup I write MYST and represent P.O.S crew from Vancouver BC.

I started writing Graffiti in 1999 when I first saw a few tags around my elementary school, I hit my first few freight the same year and got down with P.O.S crew.

I was inspired heavily by the writers from Vancouver like Werd1, Furos, Zeus, Plusone, AA crew, WCB, IBC, T.K, and many more. There was no shortage of influences coming up in Vancouver and I spent a lot of time absorbing all the different styles before trying to create my own.

Freights have been my main form of communication and it’s what I love to paint the most, I did my first whole car in 2006 and have been trying to push the limits since. Wildstyle is without a doubt the word I would use to describe my style but in the last few years, I’ve been trying to paint a variety of styles that are more legible and just trying to have a bit more fun and freedom freestyling different ideas.

25 years later I can still feel the essence of going into the tunnels and freight spots for the first time with a few shitty cans and seeing and absorbing real graffiti. The sounds, the smells, the noises the mystery the adrenaline is a love that is everlasting for me and one of the main reasons that keep me going today.

I want to give a Big shoutout to all the benchers and to everyone out there representing and doing it properly. Last but not least shoutouts to my day ones Zark, Cool 45 , Dwot, and all my ogs from POS crew.

Rest in paradise Spok!
