I’m Onart, currently based in Sassari, Italy. I’ve been writing since 1998 and from the very first moment I focused my attention on the study of the shape of letters. At the beginning I developed this study through graffiti and then I progressively moved to an investigation of the techniques of calligraphy, marked by stricter rules and more essential forms. My early passion for graffiti never faded and I keep on experimenting, trying to remove from my pieces habitual, repetitive components with the purpose of continuously exploring new horizons.
I roll with the Tropical Crew, made up of four friends. Usually I paint around Sardinia with other writers. I appreciate a number of writer and a variety of styles, but, if I’ve to choose three names I say: Dems, Petro and Reso…and the list could go on.
