I am RASK, a graffiti artist from a small town near Birmingham UK. I started writing again seriously in 2012 but was painting some years before in the 80s before taking a long break My crews are In Living Colour and Hated but Rated
There are a lot of writers whose style I like at the minute, But I really admire the styles of the German writers, they are smashing it at the minute. Closer to home a writer called Ziner (complete all rounder) but it wouldn’t be fair not to mention the guys I paint with week in week out Vomet, Deva, Mef and Medyk, there the ones who really push me
I dont find it easy to describe my style but I suppose when it comes to the letters themselves, I think that they are based on being quite readable and structured with a few connections , arrows and bits thrown in for measure haha
I am a signwriter which I suppose makes my letters a little regimental sometimes whether that’s good or bad i will leave others to decide . I do like to use nice bold colour schemes sometimes with a standard fade or solid sections of colour, or use a bit of both on the same piece
I’m looking forward to some European trips this year and hooking up with some other writers . First stop Copenhagen
