Yo, I write Reasm. I grew up in the small city of Preston in the North of England, I have been writing for 8 years. The last 2 of them have been full time, using a spray can as my medium for commissions from portraits to letter based work.
Writers who’s style I like….umm, I prefer to look at solid letter pieces with lots of flow. For me Mast, Hoacs & Geser will always be up there, but I can appreciate every one involved in the scene. Be that character artists, bombers, legal, mural etc. I don’t let it all get in the way of what graffiti is for me personally.
A bit about my style… I think it has personally come from watching people paint and soaking up the knowledge, not looking at their letters exactly but how they use a can and what caps/process etc. Then trying them out myself until I eventually found a preferred way of working, my letters are based on what I like about graffiti. Legible, stylish, flow and being an all rounder.
