My name is Sakt One i also write Esae. I am a graffiti artist/tattooist. I come from a town called Hamilton in New Zealand. New Zealand is quite far from every one but has had some amazing graffiti writers. I write for a crew called fga (forever graff addicts) which is a crew based in New Zealand and Australia. I started tagging in 1991 i had a few breaks over the years but didn’t start painting pieces till 2005 and have been consistently active since then. My style has characteristics based on old new york graffiti also with a bit of New Zealand influence as well as some euro influence. The writers I have consistently looked up to over the years is kem5, bates, phat1, askew, ceaper and dcypher. My style is quite traditional and I still love the fundamentals of graffiti which is 3 colour fades, arrows, etc. I do not often stray from the path but feel I am versatile enough to mix it up now and then when I feel like challenging myself. I can do characters but mostly just focus on letters. I enjoy painting freight trains mostly but I’ll paint any thing and every thing. I am grateful that I got asked to send some pictures as it is not often New Zealand gets to showcase our work.
