I’ve been writing Scope (Edc) for about 7 years now, had a few other names before that never stuck but all that was when I was runnin around only doing tags and throws that kinda bullshit. Based out of Connecticut but I’ve been living in Massachusetts as well from time to time so I’m lucky enough to get to experience the scene out there too. Sooo many undiscovered spots and bare-walls for days.. Connecticut’s full of abandon buildings and water tunnels so it gives anyone out here a great chance to find a decent spot to paint, and hunt for some bare spots.
So many people out here in Connecticut helped me along the way it’s real hard to specifically choose a few people who influenced me, right off the bat I wouldn’t be painting if it weren’t for my dad, as soon as he saw I had a love for this type of art he was always finding spots with me and being the look out and getting in every chase I ever been in with me, shit was awesome. But as far as writers that influenced me I’d say Keph,Vedas,Revenge,Sense(rip),Reo,Rlax, Spie, and all the hommies in EDC crew. All these writers been consistently killing it out here and all their styles are next level they’ve been the ones out here showing me everything I need to know about this game and their styles definitely influenced me the most throughout my years of painting.
Honestly I couldn’t even tell ya about my style, I feel like I haven’t even found it yet, but I try to keep it somewhat legible always and I like to try to balance it out with some straight lines and madd curvy lines in the mix, I had a phase for a year or two where I painted only super straight pieces no curvy lines or nothing, it got old so now I always just try to do something funky and different than the last piece I did. Lately I’ve had kind of an obsession with bare walls and being the first to paint a spot so I’ve recently been trying to strictly paint virgin walls. Overall I always try to keep it decently clean it’ll drive me crazy if I don’t. To me painting weird shit is always the way to go.
