I’m SINK, WJC -(Wall Junkies Crew) I have been spraying in Puerto Rico since the early 2000s, I have been in and out of the scene for a couple years. My First time writing on a wall was when I was in high school influenced by visiting family in NYC and my classmate Heptone. Growing up I remember my home town was a very prolific area for graffiti in the middle of the island, lots of crews and writers. The first time I saw a graffiti writer was from my hometown, my brother and mentor SELEK, near a place I used to skate. I also have vivid memories of big letters of Reel, old school reggaeton cd covers by Ske, huge murals by Blen167 BNA and characters by joker.
Currently I don’t know how to describe my work or which kind of style I have. I like to play with chunky letters, slab style tipography. I push myself to go out and keep painting, crafting my skills. I know that Pun18 has been very influential in my art. Pun18 was a big part of igniting my interest in the graffiti world. Connecting us with the work of writers from Europe, NYC and Canada. SCAN, ZEK, SKAM,SENTWO, DEMS, ULTRA Boys, Rosh, 123 klan, CES, Reso. Also a lot of inspiration and beers from the ADMCRU, FOURSSSS, SIK and the Spicy Boys, “They know who they are… { insert a heart and beer emoji} are artists, brothers and mentors I have had the pleasure writing with.
Trust the process.
