The judge of the June battle, Geser, just sent us the list of the winners, congrats to them! Here's his selection:

1st Place – DIZOE:

This style means business!  The letters are weighted nicely, with the center K
serving as a strong central letter extending upward. The "V" is very simple, yet strong with nice extensions, and the "M" has a very powerful stance and lean.  This outline has tech-elements nicely incorporated, yet at the core you have strong, solid letters that are easy to read.  Overall, this style has great balance, is visually striking, and serves a great example of strong, legible graffiti mixed with technical elements. A solid show, and takes 1st Place!!
2nd Place – ACEUNO:

This effortless style is easy on the eyes and a great example of solid graffiti that can stand the test of time.  This confident style is easy to read, has plenty of flow, and is nicely balanced & spaced.  Additionally, it purposefully incorporates classic graffiti elements (arrows, drips, stars, chips) without forcing them in.  Every last bit of this sketch is stylistically compatible, and looks like it would be damn fun to paint!

3rd Place – YOSTIT:
The challenge each writer faces is finding the best way to make their letter combination work together and fit with rest, and this outline accomplishes this very nicely.  This tech-looking sketch has very simple and strong letters as a foundation, and flows much like a written signature would.  All the letters naturally fit together and work well as a team.  It is nicely balanced with both the left side and right side leaning in towards the central letter "K".  A nice solid graffiti style that would certainly burn on a wall!

Congrats to the winners!
And thanks to all of you who participated. You can see most of the submitted sketches here and here.
