SMASH – I started painting in 1996, looking at graffiti from Los Angeles, Tijuana that was part of my influence at that time, looking at crews like AWR, MDR, TKO, CBS etc. taking that base, the Chicano culture and its typography, I was creating my own style over many years, having as its main base the Old English style, mixed with ornaments and flourishes giving it a very Mexican touch that represents our roots.
