The Spoce

My name is The Spoce, born in 91 and i’m writing since 2005. The name Spoce started 10 years ago. The crews TML and CAB are based in the Netherlands and IFC and WH are worldwide.
I grew up in a little town in the middle of the Netherlands called Culemborg. A small but scenic city next to a river to chill at. Moreover it has great trackside spots which I admired as a kid. When I was young it was always great to visit Utrecht, because that city has a lot of writers and it’s just 15 min away by train. I bought my first cans and graffiti-blackbooks there.
In the very beginning I meet ‘Dusk in the group of friends where I grow up with. From that moment we pushed each other to make lots of blackbook sketches and sometimes we bombed something. 2009 was the year when we both started a different study, but luckily on the same school in Utrecht. This is also the place where we meet my classmate ‘Res. We spend a lot of time chilling, sketching and making more serious walls. And much less on studying obviously. After that it was the CAB crew that give me a lot of input to develop my style. The style is based on the oldschool New York influence where I’m a big fan of. The letters and rawness of graffiti as it should be.
