My nickname is TASK and I’m a Graffiti artist from Israel, Tel Aviv
I’m doing graffiti for 12 years now. I started to paint back then at age 13, the scene here was not so big, but I met very quickly good people to go out and paint with. My first years of graff were based most of it on bombing and finding city spots, outside or inside tlv.
The part in my life of serving in the army since I was 18 for 3 years total, Changed me and made me to be more calculated and responsible person for my acts. I can say it helped me to grow up faster, also all these years I never stop painting.
But the big change I made lately, 2 years ago, After I started painting with the “big dogs” here in Israel, and learned thinking with pallettes and sketching techniques, pushed me to do more pieces and burners to increase my abilities. My graffiti is based on dancing and stretched letters, unique characters from my head, and clean filling colors. I used to do more freestyles back then, but now I’ll come very calculated to each one of my pieces. I’m doing also graffiti on street and road signs, you can see some of them on my Instagram account. Soon It will be shown up in an exhibition here in TLV.
For your question, there are many writers affecting my style, examples like stare, Shane odv, hombre suk, respa 404, shore and more..
I’m desire about how comic and unique characters come together with letters with the right flexibility and composition.
In the future, I’m sure I’ll be doing many more big walls and murals with my style only.
For now, I’m doing commission works for a living, which helps me keep doing painting sessions with my partners at the weekends , and also keep paying for my paint and expenses .
Peace.
