When I got into graffiti I was so eager I bought every magazine and book I could find that had graffiti in it. I gained a real appreciation for the documentation side of the culture and especially film photos. I was so inspired by photographers like Martha Cooper and Dave Schubert. I got my first film camera when I was 18 and havent put it down since. I’ve been making zines for around 5 years and photographing graffiti for a little less than 10. This year I started Toxic Fumes Magazine. A graffiti magazine that includes hundreds of photos, stories, interviews, drawings and more in each issue. I document the people, places and things that make graffiti so special and diverse. Graffiti is temporary and I’m just trying to preserve what I can through my camera.
