WEK – Born and raised in Vila Franca de Xira, Lisboa/Portugal. Soon got interested in drawing and calligraphy which lead him into a degree in graphic design.
Started Doing graffiti circa 98, influenced by VHS, from EUA, and graffiti that he saw on the railway. Took part in several individual and collective exhibitions. Also develops commercial works for several brands and clients.
After many years of bombing and performing illegal graffiti, he started to develop a unique style, where he mixes old school and new school wild styles. Letters, patterns, textures, tags, throw-ups, and geometric forms are some of his trademarks, creating a unique flavor.
