I’m Wuna, I’ve always loved drawing, but when I discovered graffiti at the beginning of my teenage years, it was a real shock, a call. I did my first graffiti in 2001, but it was when I moved to Toulouse (France) in 2005 that I started becoming active. Then, I settled in Montreal, Canada, where I continued my practice, and today, I split my time between the two countries. I have a particular fondness for wild style and funky vibes. The entire street culture deeply influences me, and as a B-girl, my characters are often B-boys and B-girls. Dance, funk, the energy of hip-hop, all of that shapes my style. As an animal lover, animals also have an important place in my compositions.

I enjoy both lettering and characters, which often pushes me to simplify my style so that I have time to do both, since I usually paint in just one afternoon.

I don’t necessarily have a very consistent graffiti practice. There are times when I paint a lot, but it can also happen that I don’t touch a pencil or spray can for months.

For me, graffiti remains a way to fulfill myself, but above all, it has to be fun. That’s why I love the collective aspect of graffiti. I enjoy sharing a wall with others, and I rarely paint alone.
Big shout out to everyone with whom I’ve shared a painting, especially my homies from the crews Few and Far, NTC, CMK, SP, FPC, and all the others. One love.
