yea, ive made caulk ink before from soem black silicone stuff, for liek windows n doorways.
the acteone thinned it great, and i added carbon and some stainers. it hols up really well, its kinda liek acrylic, plastiky when dry, but way harder to buff,

but my mix never flowed well, i had to use like custom mops with no valves.

does yours flow? or have same problem

Is there a major store chain that carries fiebings? The closest leather repair store is tiny and the chinese workers scope me hard whenever i go in there.

You can find gentian violet at walmart according to a few pages back. What section is it in though?

the only genetian violet i found in pharmacy were some tiny ass bottles that were only 1% concentration of genetian violet, rest of it is just water & alcohol

the 99% concentrated stuff is behind the counter of pharmacy, my friend was pharmacist and he said they use the solvents to add to stuff, they don't just sell to ppl like bottles of genetian violet, u gotta get that shit online

just add sugar to the iodine before you add it to the ink, and keep adding it till its as dark/ blue as you want it to be

there's a product "clear water" for fish in a lot of stores, potassium permanganate is the active ingredient. I guess boiling off the water in it would be better than just adding straight into an ink

Quick question- I got a 4 pack of Teejuice minimops with the fabric dye in them. I got them for the mop itself, but the dye inside was pretty opaque, so I went apeshit with em last night. I didn't add anything to them. How good is that dye and how long will it ride without a buff?
