Not bad. Think a little better about where you add highlights (or shades, for that matter). It's best to imagine there to be one lightsource and to place it somewhere around your letters (you can actually think in 3D here, but 2D will do the trick for now). Then, only add highlights/shades that make sense according to this lightsource, which means on the same sides of every letter/extension. Plus, work on your handstyle, because it currently fucks up your sketch.
When did i get so hipster? haha I went WAY overboard with the rings and some other doodads but this style is some serious fun to play with. A is fucked too, centry next time I do a piece im gonna try and use what you said. Crits welcome and appreciated
saker in my opinion the last ones the best....a tip aswell keep highlights to one side of the letters
i never really noticed how fucked up my highlights were.. so thanks guys. and thats not my handstyle just btw... thats me writing random shit hahaha
yo naked . yah next time u should try that just to see how it works. the e-d connect is lookin even better in that one . and u should end the top of the d how ever u choose to start the top of the n .... like in the one befor ur last one the fill in the d was like pourin out looked kinda cool u could do that on the n also .. ( idonno if any of that makes sense)
ause- dont worry about connecting letters yet keep up workin on structure ur gettin there, good letter ideas just poorly executed. also work on the bottom of the u it resembles a v with that point n clean up the lines
@Naked your letters look like gypsys, but overall i think it's dope. The swirl in the D looks nice and that N is perfect. keep workin that steez i want to see more. gonna pump out a few black and whites now that this ones done.
