something with pigment in it. So if you make pen ink mix it with some pilot ink or something similair. pilot is good because it will mix with an alcohol base. Or learn to Suspend pigments with shellac and make your own pigmented stainer. best of both worlds
Yeah thanks man, so basically imma try and crush some charcoal into fine grains and thin it, btw where can I find some pilot at?
you gotta get down the whole suspending pigments thing before you can go dumping charcoal in ink. thats where the Pilot ink comes in. Google it
Scented Ink or Candy Ink Get your favorite ink mix and put it in a paper cup. Get a plastic disposable knife, or straw. Get a hold of some Fragrance Oil. You can get it at any Home Decor store. They are used for these little Terra Cotta dishes that you place ontop of your lamp shade to give off a nice smell when the lamp is lit. Use an eyedropper to put some in, not too much because It'll effect the stain of your ink, in a negative way. This is the stuff I use - http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-7/309707/MVC-004F.JPG'> - I know you can't read it, but it says Fragrance Oil - Raspberry. Thats the fragrance of my choice. Mix it with the plastic knife or straw, then pour it in your marker. Juice the nib up nicely, then go bust some phat handys in a train car. This fragrance oil should'nt be too hard to obtain, but I got it in True Value Hardware for like a buck a bottle. If this recipe has been posted here already I apologize, but I felt like i needed to do something instead of just asking questions, haha. Hope I helped someone in need.. Just stole it of 12oz.
Get some blue food coloring gel, the one in those small containers. It contains methalyne blue which if you have enough in your mix, will stain a very nice blue when buffed.
lol^ but yeah today i felt like being a big ass and biting Olick's ink cookbook idea i just wrote down some recipes and random noteworthy crap in it if anybody who knows some good recipes ill send it to them
i do for real but i hate asking this today i just randomly racked a marker from my library at school. its awater based paint marker. does anyone have any idea to make the paint more permanent? or do i just have to empty it out and fill with something else?
okay well the good thing is is that its not permanent enough to fuck up the nib so i can still refill it after cleaning it out with water, thanks FV
oh and with caulk ink how would the buff compare to normal rusto because i don't really wanna try it unless its at all better than gk
its a little better, its wierd though, like they would hav an easier time scraping thne peeling it off then buffing it. btw did u get my packagE?
oh yeah i got it sorry i didnt get back to you about it but thanks so the caulk is sorta like acrilic in the way it can be scraped of easier than buffed?
