Hi everyone. I am Skare from Ukraine, a member of NID, UPC, ZNC crews.

When I was a schoolboy I used to draw a lot various kind of sketches, such as comics characters, tribal tattoos, sportcars etc, but I felt that I need to find some new direction in which I could steadily improve my drawing skills. In those days I was inspired a lot by video games and most of ideas for sketches I took from there. After I played in NFS Most Wanted I’ve started to admire the design of interface of the game: a lot of inscriptions were made like graffiti tags and also there were many pieces in the game world. After this encounter with graffiti I’ve begun to draw a lot sketches with words from this game like “Most Wanted” to understand the structure and how to draw it correctly. For me it was something new therefore I’ve started to notice it in other video games, on the streets of my city. I’ve tried to copy the letters from the video games.

I started doing graffiti in the summer of 2010 in small Ukrainian city Severodonetsk when I was 15 years old.

At the beginning of my graffiti way I was inspired by MadC, Vodka, Kak, Wire, Can2, Daim, EazOne. Then Wire and MadC influenced me the most , I think.

I used to do semi-wildstyle since I’ve been writing graffiti, but after Roskilde festival in 2016 when I met many cool writers with different styles and their different approaches for doing graffiti and how fast they paint their pieces (such as Amuse126, Neist, Kaisy, Fork4, Ekto, Skor, Scan, Harry Bones and many others) my style and my graffiti technique have changed very much. I absorbed a lot of information and got some skills while I was there.

The current my style I called – Neurowildstyle. Neurowild is disturbing, twisted, metamorphic, devilish, distorted, exempted from the rules style, based on semi-wildstyle letterforms with elements from optical illusions, glitch effects. It’s kind of game with letters. For example I can hide inside the letter “S” two-three extra “S”…so every time when I paint I never know what will be in the end as result, but surely something different. Therefore it’s interesting and funny 🙂

Best regards,

Skare
